Dr. Jacob-Ivan Eidt, associate professor of modern languages, serves as president and trustee of the Dallas Goethe Center, a nonprofit promoting German language and culture in North Texas. Under his leadership, the center hosted an international symposium, launched scholarships and expanded language programs for children and adults. Many UDallas students gain internship experience through the center and engage with the wider DFW German network, extending the university’s cultural impact into the broader community.
