Fr. Ramírez Contributes to USCCB Scripture Series

Jack Boyle, BA ’25, record-breaking center for UDallas men’s basketball, returned for a fifth year in 2024-25, taking advantage of an National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) eligibility waiver granted due to COVID-19. He put together an outstanding five-year collegiate career, averaging 14.4 points and 28.7 minutes over 109 games, shooting 53.1% from the field, and earning back-to-back All-SCAC First Team honors. Known for his all-around impact, Boyle broke multiple school records — including rebounds in a single game, blocks per game and total career blocks — cementing his place as one of the most dominant players in program history.

Boyle exemplified the quiet determination and team spirit that define UDallas athletics. Despite being an undersized center, his relentless hustle and instinct for the ball made him a standout on the court. “Rebounding is about toughness and perseverance,” Boyle says, “and being close with your teammates makes all the difference.”

For Boyle, UDallas basketball became a family, including a special 2023-24 season tournament near his hometown, where his family hosted the team. Now a proud UDallas alumnus, he leaves a legacy of loyalty, patience and humility.
