NSF Grant Advances Undergraduate Research

Earlier this year, the National Science Foundation awarded UDallas a $200,000 grant to acquire advanced laboratory instruments for Organic Chemistry II and related courses. Supported by Assistant Professor Jonathan Dannatt, PhD, the new resources will move students beyond “cookbook-style” labs to engage in authentic research, strengthen their scientific skills, and expand opportunities for all UDallas science majors — including those who balance studies with work or other responsibilities. This investment further advances UDallas’ mission as a federally designated Hispanic-Serving Institution. Learn more about the story here.
