When Pope Francis established the third Sunday of Ordinary Time as Sunday of the Word of God in 2019, he reminded us: “Devoting a specific Sunday of the liturgical year to the word of God can enable the Church to experience anew how the risen Lord opens up for us the treasury of his word and enables us to proclaim its unfathomable riches before the world.” Echoing that call, the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) launched a new video series inviting all to engage more deeply with Scripture.
Fr. Rafael Ramírez, assistant professor of theology and inistry and longtime instructor at the Neuhoff Institute for Ministry and Evangelization, contributes to the series with a rich reflection in Spanish on the Pentateuch, the foundation of God’s covenant with His people.
